A Simpler Solution
Fewer Costs
StormVault repurposes the box culvert for stormwater applications. We place a bridge slab between sections of box culvert to provide fewer pieces, less weight, and ultimately, less cost.
Familiar Install
StormVault combines standard box culverts and slabs that contractors, engineers, and agencies already know. That familiarity speeds approvals, shortens installs, and reduces risk for everyone.
Faster Delivery
With plants strategically located across the West Coast and Hawaii, Jensen delivers fast, with the capacity to hit critical deadlines while keeping your project on schedule.
From Submittal to Site
Developers
Every square foot matters. With StormVault, move stormwater underground and reclaim the surface for buildings, parking, and amenities, avoiding the need for a large basin or a grassy swale.
Engineers
Get your drawings in days, not weeks. Engineer-to-engineer coordination between your staff and ours allows us to turn around submittals quickly.
Contractors
We deliver. Built on standard box-culvert components, StormVault feels like work your team already knows. Just have the crew and crane ready.
Applications
Detention
StormVault is an ideal solution for stormwater detention, effectively managing runoff and preventing flooding. Its modular precast design, based on traditional box culvert forms, allows for efficient storage of stormwater.
Infiltration
Its modular precast design, featuring large block outs in the base slabs allows stormwater to percolate through the soil, enhancing infiltration rates. The system can be integrated with permeable base layers and infiltration trenches, ensuring that stormwater is absorbed efficiently into the ground.
Retention & Reuse
An ideal solution for stormwater reuse, leveraging Jensen’s extensive expertise in pump station technology to efficiently collect, store, and distribute rainwater for various applications such as irrigation and non-potable water supply.
Treatment
By incorporating upstream pre-treatment, such as hydrodynamic separators and downstream filtration, the StormVault is an integral part of the complete treatment train. This treatment train approach enhances water quality, protects downstream ecosystems, and supports sustainability.
Hydromodification
The system’s design allows for active management of hydromodification requirements, ensuring that stormwater is detained and released in a controlled manner to mimic pre-existing conditions.
Full Trash Capture
With the integration of JDS and or internal CPS devices, both certified by the California Water Board for Full Trash Capture, the StormVault will keep your project fully in compliance.

Configurations
Single Vault
For projects with a shallow excavation and small footprint, we recommend a single vault layout. This design features heights ranging from 3’ to 7’ and is composed of a base section and top slab.
Double Vault
For projects that need to capture and store large volumes of stormwater, we recommend a double vault layout. This design can reach heights over 12’ and is composed of a base section and an inverted top section.
Bridge Slab
Jensen’s innovative bridge slab is our bread and butter. By spanning slabs between rows of modules, it cuts the total piece count, which streamlines installation and reduces transport and handling costs.
